Gig Werks was founded in 2001 and began operations in 2002 with headquarters at 92 Main Street, Yonkers, New York and 235 West 256th Street, Bronx, New York. Offices have also been opened in the Philadelphia area at 524 Plymouth Road, Gwynedd Valley, PA. Further expansion is in the organizations future.

In 2008 Gig Werks began intensifying its offerings for the business community in Business Intelligence built on the MS Stack and has seen marked growth in this area entering into 2009. Gig Werks general development strategy is to exploit the full potential of SharePoint through continued developed expertise across the Six Pillars of SharePoint and to expand our offerings through partnerships with companies such as Bamboo Solutions, CorasWorks, Nintex, and AvePoint.
